Every DPSCD student deserves food that is nutritious, safe, and reliably stored but district food service runs on aging, under-scrutinized vendor contracts, and no one has been holding those contracts to the standard our kids deserve.

What I plan to do

Complete a full, independent audit of every active DPSCD food vendor contract and every school's cafeteria storage conditions by utlizing my exisiting practice for vendor accountability I've built over 20+ years in food and beverage management.

Lead a full, independent audit of every DPSCD food vendor contract and every school's cafeteria storage every contract, every kitchen, no exceptions

Push for a new procurement standard where food quality and safety count for at least 30% of every vendor decision, not just the lowest price

First 90 days: request every current contract and inspection record on file.

By month 9: share full audit findings publicly, and flag anything that needs fixing right away.

By year one: a new procurement standard on the table for a board vote

What Success Looks Like: Every contract and every cafeteria has a current, documented safety rating and no future food contract gets awarded on price alone.
